HARTFORD — Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will make a campaign appearance in Connecticut on Thursday.

The presidential candidate will hold a gun violence discussion in Hartford. Her campaign says she will meet with family members of those who fell victim to gun violence, including some of the families of the victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy.

The event will be held at the Wilson-Gray YMCA, located at 444 Albany Ave. at 11:30 a.m.

On Monday, her campaign announced the visit but didn’t include specifics beyond saying “she will discuss her plans to tackle gun violence in communities across America and to break down the barriers that hold too many families back.”

Connecticut’s presidential primary will be held on Tuesday, April 26.

GOP front runner Donald Trump appeared in Hartford Friday in front of a crowd of 7,000, with hundreds of protesters.

Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders will face off in the New York State primary on Tuesday. Clinton holds a lead in the polls for that race.
