STAFFORD — Multiple fire crews responded to a two-alarm garage fire, which spread into a house around noon on Saturday.
Firefighters from Crystal Lake Fire, Wales Fire, West Stafford Fire, and Willington Fire assisted Stafford Fire Department.
The Stafford Fire Department said the fire involved 5 vehicles, including sports cars and motorcycles. Police said no one was injured.
Three cats were rescued by firefighters, including 1 who was rescued through a wall hiding under a bathtub.
Stafford Fire Chief Dave Lucia said that gas stored in the garage may have contributed to the fire, however the Fire Marshall is still investigating an official cause.
Red Cross is helping the family, who has no electric or heat as a result of the fire.
