COVENTRY — Searchers are looking for a horse that took off Sunday afternoon.
According to the Horse Find Network, Dutchess unseated her rider Sunday around 3 p.m. near the Pucker Street underpass on the Hop Creek State Trail.
The rider was unhurt.
Dutchess was last seen headed toward Route 6, which is nearby.
Dutchess is a 15-year-old light bay thoroughbred with a white star, she has markings on her legs and hooves and is about 15.2 hands or 5 feet tall. She had a saddle and bridle on at the time.
