TORRINGTON–Police have announced a second arrest in a home invasion that occurred earlier this month.
On Friday, police served Randy Gilbar 28, of Torrington, with an arrest warrant when he appeared in court for unrelated charges.
Gilbar is now charged with home invasion in the first degree, robbery in the first degree, burglary in the first degree and larceny in the sixth degree. He was held on a $350,000 bond.
On July 19, police announced the arrest of Hillary Combs, 46, of Norwich. He was charged for the crime with sexual assault in the first degree, attempted sexual assault in the first degree, home invasion, robbery and burglary.
