Some light snow will coat up the ground across much of the state tonight, and it'll continue into Friday morning.
The morning commute could certainly be a bit slick, with that snow falling in spots right during rush hour. It's all because of a clipper system swinging by, which doesn't have a whole lot of moisture to work with. The snow should taper off during the late morning, and we may clear out the sky during the afternoon.
Mainly clear skies and a fresh snowpack will help to deliver some very cold temperatures by Saturday morning. It looks like much of the state can drop down to near zero.
We then stay cold throughout this weekend, with a good amount of sunshine and temperatures only in the 20s.
There has been a lot of talk about a big storm for Sunday and Monday. At this point, it looks likely that this storm will stay to our south. That being said, we may get brushed by some light snow during the morning on Monday. A couple inches are possible. We'll keep an eye on it for sure.
