NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The man behind Jordan’s Furniture wants you to get up off your couch.
“New Haven Connecticut has the world’s largest indoor ropes course in the world, in a furniture store, you want something different, that’s different," Jordan’s Furniture CEO, Eliot Tatelman explains.
In the back of Elio Tatelman’s massive Elm City store is a multi-story adventure course. Tuesday, FOX61's Dan Amarante and Keith McGilvery suited up on our CT Bucket List Tour to give it a try. It has four levels, with four courses, and a number of zip lines that run 200 feet long. Keith and Dan both conquered the zipline over water and for Keith, it was a return to the ropes that have raised challenges before.
Multiple climbing walls and a three story- free fall are all waiting for you to conquer as well.
“The thing that drives me crazy a little bit is that people come here as families and that the parents don't do the [climbing walls]. They send the kids up,” says Tatelman.
Tatelman ran the course with our team and says it’s time for adults to get in on the action and show their kids what they can do.
“If you want to do something fun with your kids, this is made for adults as well as children,” he says. You'll never be bored.
Tickets to the IT course at Jordan’s Furniture in New Haven range from $10-$40 depending on how much you want to try. You can learn more about the park, here.
