Third person arrested in fatal Waterbury courthouse shooting

Police expect to make additional arrests in the fatal shooting of a Waterbury man outside of the courthouse last month.

WATERBURY, Conn. — A third person is facing charges in connection with the murder of a man in March outside a Waterbury courthouse.

On the morning of  March 21, 26-year-old Jarron Chapman was shot and killed as he was leaving the courthouse. He'd been attending court proceedings earlier in the day.

When police got to the scene, they found Chapman suffering from gunshot wounds. Chapman was rushed to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
