LAS VEGAS--"We have some bad hombres here, and we're going to get them out."

It was the quote heard round the world as the third and final presidential debate kicked off.

Both candidates were asked to defend their positions on immigration and explain why the other candidate's position wouldn't work.

Donald Trump spoke about building his wall, about the heroin epidemic, and about not giving amnesty to so many immigrants. At the end of his two-minute answer, he said "We have some bad hombres here, and we're going to get them out." It appeared he was speaking specifically about drug dealers.

Trump added, "Right now, we're getting the drugs, they're getting the cash."

In Spanish, "hombres" means men, though Trump's actual pronunciation was "AH-mbres."

Social media took notice quickly, with memes popping up all over. #badhambres also quickly became the second top trending topic on Twitter in the United States.

New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart, a Republican, was quick to join in on the fun, tweeting, less than five minutes after the quote came out.

Others took the statement a little more literally.
