HARTFORD — A man was shot and killed on Flatbush Avenue Saturday afternoon, police said.
Police said they received a report of shots fired at 3:55 p.m. on Flatbush Avenue near Zion Street. When police arrived at the scene, they found a 25-year-old male shot in the abdomen and in one arm. He was taken to Hartford Hospital and pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
The victim was identified Sunday night as Miguel Rodriguez, 25, of Hartford.
Lt. Brian Foley, head of the major crime division, said the department’s crime scene division and detectives from the shooting task force are investigating.
“We are developing suspect information and trying to locate and interview witnesses,” he said.
