HAMDEN — A man armed with a knife attempted to rob the P.M. Corner Market on Butler Street on Saturday morning, police said.
The suspect entered the store, located at 192 Butler St., around 9 a.m. and approached the cash register. The clerk jumped the counter and fled the store.
The suspect tried unsuccessfully to open the cash register. The knife he was armed with had an 8 to 12-inch blade, police said.
The suspect has not been located. Anyone with information about this robbery attempt is asked to call Hamden police at 203-230-4040.
