A winter storm warning is now in effect for inland counties and much of Fairfield and New Haven County, while a winter storm watch is in effect for much of the shoreline.
Expect snow to begin by dawn, with the first flakes not sticking. We'll see snow ramp up in the mid-morning period, and it will be heaviest in the afternoon/evening, so if you're travelling, go early and be careful. Heaviest snow is set for northwest hills, while the lowest totals are expected towards New London County.
The snow will end around midnight, and it's cold afterwards into Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
