$100K Powerball ticket sold in Connecticut for Monday's drawing

HARTFORD, Conn. — A Powerball ticket sold in Connecticut won $100,000 in Monday night's drawing.

The numbers to match are 7-23-24-56-60 and the Powerball 25.

One ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball, and played with X2 Power Play, winning $100,000. One other ticket matched just four numbers and played with Power Play, winning $200.

A total of 5,469 winning Powerball tickets were sold in Connecticut for Monday's drawing.

A ticket sold in Florida won the jackpot, estimated at $215 million, with a cash value of $100.1 million. A ticket sold in Idaho matched five numbers and played with Power Play, winning $2 million.

The next drawing is on Wednesday, May 8, and the jackpot resets to $20 million.
