Inside the 40,000 square foot museum, you’ll find other picture book authors and illustrators as well.

“The museum has grown a lot since 2002 we have more than 7000 works in our permanent collection of illustrations from amazing picture book artists from all around the world,” said Alexandra Kennedy.

“We hope that when the museum open people would feel inspired when they look at original art and exhibits to go make art themselves and onething we hope that will come out of this is that kids feel empowered to be creative. To use their imagination. Make art themselves!” said Kennedy.
