Investigation underway after man left in critical condition from Hartford shooting: Police

Police determined the man is in his 30's. He was taken to the hospital for injuries suffered during the shooting.

HARTFORD, Conn. — A man was critically injured with "multiple gunshot wounds" after a shooting in Hartford, the city's police department said.

According to police, officers received a report at 5:05 p.m. about a person who had been shot in the area of Park Street.

The man who was found was determined to be in his 30's and was taken to the hospital for his injuries, police said. He is currently in critical condition.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crimes Scene Divisions is leading the investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call the Hartford Police Department tip line at 860-722-TIPS (8477).
