WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Story by Julianna Farquharson Conard High School
Conard High School's theater department is producing emotional and high-quality productions yearly.
Their recent fall play, 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' was no different.
The emotional play centered around a character who was on the autism spectrum, but the story is so much more than that.
This story gave Conard students the opportunity to learn more about people who were different then them and do a play that would have people think.
The West Hartford community is looking forward to the remaining two productions for Conard Theater, the musical 'Les Misérables' in March, and the comedy 'You Can't Take It With You' in May.
The FOX 61 Student News program empowers Connecticut middle and high school students to explore the world of multi-media journalism by giving them the opportunity to capture, edit and publish original content under the guidance of industry professionals.
Each student produced and hosted segment will showcase a local story or event, highlighting all that is great about our state. Segments will be featured on-air during Friday's Morning News at 7:45 a.m., 5:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. news and during the FOX61 Morning News on Saturday at 7 a.m., and right here on FOX61.com!
