Dogs like to hang out at the Shelton Dog Park | FOX61 Student News

Both big dogs and little dogs have their own separate areas to run around in and they all love stretching their four legs.

SHELTON, Conn. — Story by Serena Tchir / Shelton Intermediate School

Dogs love to play, and at the Shelton Dog Park they get to do just that. Built in 2010, the park is located in the heart of Shelton, CT on a two acre site that allows all dogs to run around and play to their heart’s content.  Both big dogs and little dogs have their own separate areas to run around in and they all love stretching their four legs. Steve and Sue Steiner have been bringing their dog Lillie to the park for several years and they love it!

The park is a fun destination for the dogs and it features grass to run on, and rocks that allow them to enjoy the great outdoors.  Cookie is a Japanese Chin that regularly comes to the park with her daddy Terrance Tchir and she loves playing with the other pups.
