FARMINGTON, Conn. — An overnight fire ripped through a home on New Britain Avenue in Farmington, but luckily no injuries were reported.

The Tunxis Hose Company says they responded just after 3 am to the fire.  All fire departments in Farmington were subsequently called out, as well as mutual aid from Plainville, and units from Avon and Burlington provided station coverage in town.

Units were on scene until 7 a.m.  The Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause of the fire.
